Saunon Malekshahi is co-founder and COO of Moonware, building the world’s first Ground Traffic Control platform for airfield operations. Its flagship platform, HALO, won the 2025 GHI Digital Innovation Award and is live with airlines, ground handlers, and airports across North America, Mexico, and Japan. Raised in Costa Rica in an aviation family, he studied aerospace engineering at UC Berkeley, worked at Natilus and NASA Ames, and led an effort with the Costa Rican government to develop a commercial spaceport before co-founding Moonware.
